Free Tax Filing Available to Qualifying Hoosiers

The State of Indiana reminds Hoosiers with an adjusted gross income of $72,000 or fewer may qualify to file both state and federal taxes at no cost through I-N-freefile. The service has been offering free, inline tax-filing services to Hoosiers for 18 years and uses the same electronic, question-and-answer style software most e-filers use. State Department of Revenue Commissioner, Bob Grennes says nearly sixty percent of Hoosier taxpayers qualified for at least one I-N-freefile offer last year, but only about three percent took advantage.
