History Rides with Rail Rangers on the South Shore Line

History rides with rail rangers are an opportunity to learn more about the South Shore Line trip through the Region between Chicago and South Bend. In partnership with Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District (NICTD) and Indiana Dunes National Park, interpretive guides with the nonprofit Midwest Rail Rangers narrate passing scenery in the designated train car. There’s no extra cost and no reservation needed, and you can hop on and off at any stop. Three opportunities are this month and for more details and other upcoming dates visit www.mysouthshoreline.com or www.DunesTrain.com

*Eastbound programs take place aboard the train that departs Chicago-Millennium at 8:40AM CT. Westbound programs take place aboard the train that departs South Bend at 1:05PM ET. For a complete schedule of intermediate stops that you can get on/off the train, a map, plus other FAQ’s on the Midwest Rail Rangers’ South Shore program, visit the Rail Rangers website at: http://www.DunesTrain.com/
