Indiana Governor Holcomb Quarantines After COVID-19 Exposure; Expected to Join Weekly Coronavirus Briefing by Phone

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) says several members of Governor Eric Holcomb’s security detail have tested positive for COVID-19. State Health Commissioner, Dr. Kristina Box has advised the governor and First Lady, Janet Holcomb, to quarantine, beginning today, Wednesday November 18. The ISDH will conduct contact tracing for the Governor, First Lady and security detail. Dr. Box and Dr. Lindsay Weaver—Indiana State Chief Medical Officer—will provide further updates during today’s (Wednesday’s) COVID-19 press briefing, which the governor is expected to join by phone.
