Indiana “State Nature Passport” Offers Interactive Experience

Nature enthusiasts can discover new places and enjoy the Indiana outdoors by signing up for the Indiana State Nature Passport, an online effort of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources and the Indiana Destination Development Corporation. Indiana Lieutenant Governor, Suzanne Crouch says the passport includes nearly sixty scenic locations to explore, and those who “check in” to any of the designated locations from a smartphone can receive custom prizes. The free digital passport offers more prizes for more locations visited. Visitors who sign up this week—through February 28th—will receive a free sticker. Prizes are awarded after participants meet certain benchmarks of designated places visited. Seasonal prizes are offered as well.
