Indiana to Remain in Stage 4.5 of COVID-19 Reopening Plan At Least Two More Weeks

Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb says the state of Indiana will remain at Stage 4.5 for at least the next two weeks, as COVID-19 cases, positivity rates and hospitalizations have increased over the bast two weeks. On June 18th, Indiana’s positivity rate stood at 4-point-2 percent, and as of July 11th, the positivity rate has increased to 7-point-1 percent. The number of hospitalizations due to COVID-19 have also increased, from 595 hospitalizations on June 26th to 881 as of July 14. Holcomb says Elkhart County will remain at Stage 4.
