Ivy Tech Community College is offering free classes and training for 10,000 Hoosiers to help Indiana residents experiencing unemployment, reduced hours, or furloughs statewide due to COVID-19. Chancellor Aco Sikoski says the community college is able to offer these classes to anyone living in the state of Indiana.
“They will be delivered online, or ‘virtual'”, Sikoski said.
“Classes will be available soon. Right now, we are doing the registration process, and I encourage all people who are interested to take these free classes to go ahead and register.”
Sikoski says registered participants may take more than one class or training in a range of relevant high-demand areas, including advanced manufacturing, industrial technology and business, and that more classes will be added as the summer progresses. Registration ends on July 30th.
