South Haven Fire Department Offering ‘Stop the Bleed’ Course for the Community

The South Haven Fire Department is offering a Stop the Bleed course for the community from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 7th at the fire station on 700 North in Porter County.
The course is designed to teach bleeding control methods, which can save lives. The cost is $10 per person, payable on the day of the training, and all proceeds go to the South Haven Fire Department’s EMS fund to purchase medical equipment and training.  Advance registration is not necessary; the course is being offered on a walk-in basis.
