Valpo vs. New Palestine to Be Shown Live in Downtown Valparaiso Friday Night

In Valparaiso, the community is invited to cheer on the Valparaiso High School football team in the state championship with a live broadcast of the game this Friday night (November 29), 6 pm at Central Park Plaza. Hosted by Valparaiso Events, the community is encouraged to wear green, bring their own chairs and tailgating snacks, as well as a non-perishable food item to be donated to Hilltop Food Pantry. Valparaiso takes on New Palestine High School for the 5A prep football title.

“The weather may be chilly, and we encourage people to dress for a football game as we cheer on the Vikes,” said Tina St. Aubin, Executive Director for Valparaiso Events. “Though the game is in Indianapolis, we wanted to give fans remaining in Valpo an opportunity to share the spirit. This tailgate event is also an excellent way for the community to come together to donate to local food pantries,” she said.  Individuals or businesses that wish to get involved as sponsors may call Valparaiso Events at 219-464-8332.
