Purdue Extension – Lake County Offers Program on Managing Concerns About Falls

Purdue Extension – Lake County is offering A Matter of Balance: Managing Concerns About Falls in January and February 2022, a series of classes 10AM – 12Noon CT, at their Crown Point office. A workbook is provided and snacks are served. A news release said the fall prevention program is also designed to reduce fear of falling and increase activity levels among older adults, and participants learn to set realistic goals to increase activity, change their environment to reduce fall risk factors, and learn simple exercises to increase strength and balance.
