The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration is celebrating National 211 Day today – February 11. It’s a free service that connects Hoosiers with help and answers from health and human service agencies and resources in their local communities. The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration says Indiana 211 expanded services due to COVID and answered over 2 million calls last year, an unprecedented number of calls for any 211 across the country the news release said, and included assisting Hoosiers with COVID-19 testing and vaccine scheduling as well as questions about housing, transportation, and more.
