Resurfacing Work on Silhavy Road in Valparaiso

In Valparaiso, work on Silhavy Road continues, with resurfacing underway and traffic restricted between the roundabout and the railroad tracks south of Evans Avenue. The pathway and sidewalk remain closed for safety reasons. Pedestrians and motorists are asked to find alternate routes. A news release said once complete, the Silhavy project will add a turning lane, enhance stormwater management and provide a smooth, lasting roadway surface.
