UCLA and USC are officially leaving the Pac-12 for the Big 10. Both schools confirmed the move late Thursday. The schools will officially join the conference in 2024, with the realignment applying to all sports. USC released a statement saying the move would be effective August 2nd, 2024 so that both universities in California could stay in the Pac-12 for the “duration of the Pac-12’s existing media rights agreements.” This is the fourth expansion for the Big Ten since adding Penn State in 1990.
