Lake County Corn Dogs Close Out First Season as 2022 Northern League Champions

In Crown Point, the Lake County Corn Dogs finish their inaugural season as 2022 Northern League Champions. They met the Northwest Indiana Oilmen for a two-game playoff series at Legacy Fields Wednesday, final score 8-7 game one and 14-1 game two. If they had split the double header at the Corn Dogs’ home field, there would have been one more playoff game held in Whiting today. The Corn Dogs also finished in first place for the regular season 35-11, a new record for most wins in a season in the Northern League.
