In Indianapolis, a trick-or-treat event at the Governor’s Residence Monday night with Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb and First Lady Janet Holcomb dressed up in costumes inspired by the 1983 film “A Christmas Story” set in the Hammond-inspired fictional community of Hohman, one as the leg lamp and the other, the Governor, in the as-described-in-the-movie ‘pink nightmare’ bunny suit pajamas. They also gave out candy made in Lake County. The Governor’s office says Halloween visitors received Indiana-based treats from Albanese Confectionery in Merrillville and Zachary Confections out of Frankfort. Here’s a link to see photos.
