Indiana U.S. Senator Mike Braun is taking the first steps toward running for governor of the Hoosier state. The Republican filed paperwork for a 2024 run. Current Governor Eric Holcomb cannot seek re-election in 2024 because of Indiana’s gubernatorial term limits. Braun has served in the Senate since being elected in 2018 over incumbent Democratic Senator Joe Donnelly.
