First Lady’s Visit to Northwest Indiana Postponed

An announcement from the Office of the First Lady says First Lady Jill Biden’s visit to Northwest Indiana this week is postponed until a later date, additional details to follow. The First Lady was originally scheduled to travel to Ivy Tech Community College in Valparaiso this Friday February 17 along with U.S. Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh and U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm to highlight the Biden Administration’s commitment to strengthening our economy and building pathways to good-paying jobs through career-connected learning, following the State of the Union address last week, the news release said.
