Indianapolis Animal Care Services says it has no open spaces for incoming animals. Organization leaders say they are beyond capacity and will be forced to euthanize for space if the dogs they currently have are not adopted. The shelter is not scheduling any new surrender appointments for six weeks. There are around 130 animals up for adoption currently- and the shelter offers walk-up adoptions. They also have a trial adoption program to allow someone to foster an animal for 14 days before going through the adoption process.
