The Northwest ISBDC (Indiana Small Business Development Center) team says it has launched the 2023 E-Day nomination process to honor entrepreneurs and advocates who are leaving an impactful imprint on the Region. For more than 30 years, the Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards have spotlighted the individuals and businesses that are behind Northwest Indiana’s vibrant entrepreneurial community, the news release said. “Every year, our E-Day committee is amazed at the strong showing of nominations that represent a range of industries,” said Feldt. “We are truly fortunate to have an extensive array of unique businesses – along with their inspiring stories – that reflect our communities here in Northwest Indiana.” Nomination packets are being accepted through Wednesday, August 30, 2023, and are available by visiting www.edayleaders.com or by calling the Northwest ISBDC office at (219) 644-3513.
Award categories include: small business person of the year, entrepreneurial success, small business exporter, young entrepreneur, minority-owned small business person, family-owned business, emerging small business, small business advocate and advocate for youth entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurs with a three-year track record and great growth potential in the seven-county Northwest Indiana Small Business Development Center area of Lake, Porter, LaPorte, Jasper, Starke, Pulaski and Newton counties are eligible. The nomination process is open to the public.

Serving seven counties in the region, the Northwest ISBDC offers no-cost assistance for entrepreneurs starting or expanding their businesses.
