In Hobart, the city’s Fire Department celebrates a birthday Thursday November 2, 2023. A post at Hobart Fire’s Facebook page says the department was formed 132 years ago on November 2nd, 1891, and here you can see a photo of their firefighters from 1893, courtesy of the Hobart Fire Department’s Facebook page .
