It’s been reported over the last few weeks that Morgan Wallen would be in court today (5-3), but his attorney confirmed to WZTV in Nashville, that he personally doesn’t have to present.
His attorney said: “The court has formally waived Morgan Wallen’s appearance on Friday, May 3 as his presence is not required to advance the case.”
Morgan is charged with felony reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct for throwing a chair from a rooftop bar last month that missed Metro Police officers, by only a few feet.
Although he won’t be at the court hearing, he is in Nashville for three concerts at Nissan Stadium this week.
