In Lake County, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says State Road 2 is set to close west of Lowell for a bridge deck overlay preventative maintenance project over John Bruce Ditch. State Road 2 between U.S. 41 and Parrish Ave is set to close on or after Monday, June 3, 2024. through early July, INDOT said, and the official detour will follow U.S. 41, State Road 10 and I-65.
