Aubrey Plaza, best known for her role in Parks & Recreation, suffered an ACL tear while playing a game of “knockout” at the Phoenix Mercury practice facility. The incident occurred between the skills event and the WNBA All-Star game. Plaza was shown on the TV broadcast with crutches and a large ice wrap on her knee. This is her second ACL tear while playing basketball, with the first occurring during a women’s recreation league game in Los Angeles where she disguised herself to play on the same team as her sister. Plaza described the first tear as a “worst-case scenario” since she was trying to go undercover and ended up injuring herself while wearing a wig. (Deadline)
