In Porter County, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says part of U.S. 6 will be closed for about four months between State Road 49 and Westville. INDOT says the closure on U.S. 6 between Mander Road and Porter County Road 350 East is set to begin on or after Monday, August 26, 2024, and continue through late December for two small structure replacements. The official detour will follow State Road 49 and State Road 2.
