The Recycling and Waste Reduction District of Porter County says it will be celebrating America Recycles Day on Friday, November 15, 2024 at the following Strack & Van Til locations in Porter County:
• Valparaiso Strack & Van Til on Calumet Avenue
• Chesterton Strack & Van Til on Pioneer Trail
• Portage Stack & Van Til on Central Avenue
From 9am-12noon, the districts says residents can come to any of these locations to receive a free reusable bag and learn more about what Porter County is doing to promote reuse, recycling, and sustainability.
