Severe Drought in Most of Northwest Indiana

The latest U.S. Drought Monitor is now showing Severe Drought across most of northwest Indiana, with Moderate Drought in the northern half of Lake, Porter, and LaPorte counties. The map shows much of the northern third of Indiana is Severe Drought, several counties in central Indiana in Moderate Drought, and Abnormally Dry conditions extending along the Ohio River in southern Indiana up to areas of central Indiana as well.
