The nonprofit group New Leash on Life in Crown Point announces a “Raise the Woof” event for a new no-kill animal shelter in Crown Point. The event is scheduled for Saturday December 7, 2024, 12noon to 3pm, at Bulldog Park in Crown Point featuring special remarks from Mayor Pete Land and the Chief of Police Ryan Patrick at 12:30 pm.
