East Porter County Schools (Kouts, Morgan Twp, Washington Twp) have a 2-hour delay January 22, 2025, due to forecast extreme wind chill temperatures.
Hebron Schools (MSD of Boone Township) will be on a 2 hour delay Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
Kankakee Valley Schools will be on a 2-hour delay for Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, based on a regular day schedule. There will be no AM Pre-School. PM Pre-School will meet at 12:45 p.m.
Due to the continued cold weather, Knox Schools will be operating on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. There will be no AM Preschool and no AM vocational at the HS.
Due to frigidly cold temperatures in the morning, Chesterton Montessori will be on a 2 hour delay. Half-day classes will be canceled. Before care will begin at 9am. Full-day arrival will be at 10am.
