In Lowell, Tri-Creek school officials have announced their new head football coach. Casey McKim joins Lowell after five years and a 48-17 record as head coach at New Prairie High School. At New Prairie, McKim led a team that won four consecutive Sectional Championships and two Regional Championships, went to Semi-State twice, and played for the 4A IHSAA state title in 2022 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Prior to his time at New Prairie, McKim served as Offensive Coordinator when Valparaiso High School made their bid for a state championship run in 2019, a news release said. McKim will transition to his new role in Lowell after school hours effective immediately with full-time teaching beginning in August.
