Karl Berner and Mike Bonaventura from Adams Radio Group getting ready to take part in last year’s Crown Point St. Patrick’s Day parade
In Crown Point, the city’s lighted, nighttime St. Patrick’s Day Parade will begin at dusk Monday, March 17, 2025, in the downtown square with expanded space for food and retail vendors this year, the city said. Vendors will be set up on Joliet Street between Court and Main streets and on Main Street between Robinson Court and Clark Street from 3-9 p.m. “The St. Patrick’s Day Parade kicks off our event season, drawing residents and visitors to the heart of our beloved downtown,” said Crown Point Mayor Pete Land in a news release. Hosted since 2008, the City of Crown Point says the annual celebration typically draws thousands to the downtown square. This year, parade participants are being asked to adorn their parade entries with at least 500 lights. For more information, visit crownpoint.info/stpats .
