The National Weather Service is confirming that at least four tornadoes hit the Northwest Indiana/Chicago area, including an EF-1 in Cedar Lake, and an EF-0 tornado in Schererville and Merrillville during severe weather Friday night March 14, 2025, into early Saturday morning March 15, 2025.
