The third annual Ivy Tech Day is Tuesday, April 8, 2025, meant to help more than 200,000 students across 19 campuses, including more than 11,000 enrolled at Ivy Tech Valparaiso prepare for careers that will impact Indiana communities for years to come. A news release says the college’s day of giving with a kickoff time of 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, April 8 means for 24 hours, people can contribute to Ivy Tech’s commitment to student success and support the campuses’ greatest needs. “The day is about reuniting alumni and friends as well as celebrating the important work being done at the nation’s largest singly accredited community college – such as preparing nurses, pharmaceutical manufacturers, entrepreneurs, and others for tomorrow’s workforce,” the college said. Ivy Tech says it awards nearly half of all postsecondary credentials earned by Hoosiers, adding that more than 4 in 5 graduates stay in Indiana to pursue their careers, contributing nearly $4 billion annually to the state’s economy. Ivy Tech Valparaiso campus includes Valparaiso/Main campus and its Michigan City and La Porte satellite locations. Ivy Tech Lake County campus is made up of three locations, Crown Point, East Chicago, and Gary. Here is a link for more information about Ivy Tech Day – ivytech.edu/giveday .
