In Crown Point, First United Methodist Church presents Bears and Badges, a fundraiser dinner for Crown Point first responders, on Friday, April 14, 2023. The event featuring Chicago Bears Hall of Famer Dan Hampton will be at On the Square Sports Academy on North Court Street. Shuttle service for parking from First United Methodist Church on South Main Street. Funds raised to go to the Crown Point First Responder Honor Fund to aid First responders and their families in case of emergency. Tickets and registration are available online; event is 21 and over.
