Lake County Master Gardeners Offer “The Art of Growing Food” Webinar

Region residents are invited to a special gardening webinar on growing food. The Lake County Master Gardeners says the free webinar called “The Art of Growing Food” is presented by kitchen garden designer and author Ellen Ecker Ogden. The lecture “brings art to the vegetable garden through plants, structures, and classic European potager design,” a news release said, potager being a French word for the style of kitchen/vegetable garden, and ideas for renovating or revitalizing an edible landscape. Her articles have appeared in numerous national publications. The webinar is Wednesday March 19, 2025, 6 pm Central; visit the Lake County Master Gardeners website to reserve a space.
