In Porter County, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says a stretch of State Road 2 between Valparaiso and Westville will be closed through early August starting next week for a structure replacement at West Branch Crooked Creek. The closure between County Roads East 400 North and North 575 East is scheduled to begin on or after Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The official detour will follow State Road 49 and U.S. 6.
