Volunteers Sought to Help Place Flags at Military Gravesites Ahead of Memorial Day

In Hobart, American Legion Post 54 is looking for volunteers to help place flags on military veterans graves at Evergreen Cemetery ahead of the Memorial Day holiday. Dress casual and bring gloves if you have them, and, if anyone has extra screwdrivers to bring those, too, to poke a starter hole in the ground to help place the flags. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Volunteers are asked to meet at the cemetery on West 39th Avenue in Hobart at 2pm this Saturday May 27, 2023. Water will be available.
