In Winfield, Indiana American Water has announced it is putting a new 1.5-million-gallon elevated water tank in Winfield this month. Standing nearly 150 feet tall, the new concrete pedestal and steel water tank is located near East 117th Avenue and Randolph Street. The company said the new tank will increase water storage capacity, improve water pressure, and enhance fire protection capabilities across the community. On the west side of the tank, residents will see the Town of Winfield’s emblem and the east view shows Indiana American Water’s brand.
