Public Invited to Submit Nominations for Northwest Indiana Partners for Clean Air Awards

Northwest Indiana Partners for Clean Air is accepting nominations for its annual Clean Air Awards. The announcement said nominations can be submitted for any Northwest Indiana business, municipal or county government, industry, organization or individual who voluntarily undertook actions to protect the air during the 2021 calendar year. Self-nominations are accepted. The Partners for Clean Air Nomination form is available online here.  The deadline to submit nominations is end of business April 1, 2022. Four awards will be presented, one in each of the following categories: business, municipal, industrial and the Mark Siminski Bicycle Award, which will recognize an individual or entity for extraordinary efforts to promote and/or participate in bicycling in Northwest Indiana. The awards will be presented at the Northwest Indiana Partners for Clean Air Luncheon and Awards Ceremony from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 22, 2022. The event will also feature the announcement of the winners of the 2022 Partners for Clean Air Scholarships.  The event is free, but registration is required.
