In Chesterton, the Duneland Chamber of Commerce says it is excited to announce its partnership with the Chesterton Art Center for the creation of this year’s town banners, which the chamber said “will showcase the exceptional artwork of local students, adding vibrancy and charm to our community.” A news release from the Duneland Chamber also sent out congratulations to the artists whose work has been selected for display:
Cassidy Hansen, 8 (flowers)
Miki Kresal, 14 (sunset)
Teagan Monroe, 15 (trees)
Zoe Gelement, 15 (birds)
“This is a great opportunity for our young artist students to showcase their beautiful artworks for the entire town and our visitors. It is really special. We’re grateful to have partnered with the Chamber to make this happen,” said Hannah Hammond-Hagmon, Executive Director of the Chesterton Art Center. The town banners are scheduled to be installed by the opening day of Chesterton’s European Market season, which begins in May.
