In Valparaiso, Valparaiso University and Ivy Tech Community College recently announced they’ve entered into a Dual Admission Partnership Agreement. A news release said students accepted into the program will be admitted into both Ivy Tech and Valpo at the same time and can “transition seamlessly to Valpo after earning their associate degree from Ivy Tech.” During this time, Valparaiso University (VU) also said students will receive academic advising from both institutions, and if they meet the criteria, receive a Valpo transfer scholarship. While attending Ivy Tech, students who are part of the Dual-Admission Partnership Agreement (DAP) will have a Valpo email, student ID card, and eligibility to participate in Valpo programs such as athletic events, theatre productions, concerts, and the library system. On-campus housing may be provided to students in the DAP based on factors including availability, the announcement said. Here is a link for more details.
