In Porter County, State Road 49 is scheduled to close south of Kouts next week. The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says the closure is set to begin on or after Monday, June 3 through mid-July for a small structure replacement at Martin Ditch and the official detour will follow State Road 8, U.S. 421, and State Road 10.
