City Kicks Off Second ‘All In Gary!’ Cleanup Campaign

In Gary, Mayor Jerome Prince Thursday hosted an event to kick off the second All In Gary! cleanup campaign. Mayor Prince operated an excavator and led a city demolition crew in tearing down an abandoned building near the center of Gary at 25th and Broadway. The All In Gary! two-day campaign begins this morning, Friday May 13 with city crews and dozens of volunteers cleaning up the City’s main gateways. On Saturday May 14 General Services crews will support community groups in neighborhoods throughout the city.
