In downtown Valparaiso, the annual Valparaiso Noon Kiwanis Club Corn Roast Fest is Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Central Park Plaza and Urschel Pavilion, 5 pm to 10 pm. The music lineup features American English – a Tribute to the Beatles, and Southern Accents – The Ultimate Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers Experience. Proceeds benefit the Valparaiso Noon Kiwanis Club Community Fund. The Valparaiso Noon Kiwanis Club says it helps support non-profits including Hilltop Neighborhood House, Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana, Special Olympics of Porter County, and Valparaiso Community Schools’ Robotics Teams. Tickets are on sale at Eventbrite. Tickets are $25 per person and include entrance to the event, both live concerts, and all-you-can-eat roasted corn on the cob. The event is rain or shine.
