In Crown Point, the school district’s first Coffee and Conversation of the academic year is Thursday, August 25th. A post at the Crown Point Community School Corporation’s Facebook page says Superintendent Dr. Todd Terrill will be at the Crown Point Community Library at 9:30 am; plus, residents 62 years and older who live in the district are invited to come out for a special Senior Edition of Coffee and Conversation and bring photo ID with address to receive a complimentary event and athletics pass for the 22-23 school year. School officials say passes have always been offered for district residents 62 and older, but few people visit the admin building to claim them, and they’re hoping to distribute more this year. “No presentation or talking points – this is simply an opportunity to engage in conversation with our community,” the announcement said.
