In Lake County, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is advising motorists of lane closures on U.S. 41 near Cedar Lake beginning on or after Thursday October 24, 2024. A news release said U.S. 41 will be reduced to one lane in each direction between 133rd and 165th Avenues for about three weeks for two small structure maintenance and repair projects. INDOT encourages drivers to allow extra time when driving through this area and follow traffic directions carefully.
